我的GPA比较低, 按算法不同会在2.8到3.3之间, 所以想开个排名证明来加强一下. 到学校一查发现我只排到全年级第8, 问题是我们就2个班60人, 也就是Top13%(或者说87%below). 大家觉得有开这个证明的必要吗?g3z)Hbn\9j

我特地去查了一下美国比较常用的GPA算法, 发现他们是根据百分比来给分的, 最常见的是这样的:V]ZaS ?%`"Vk7p

Chromatic variants (+ and −) are often used. In hypomodal grading on a 100-point scale, the prime letter grade is assigned a value centered around the one's digit 5: the + grade is assigned the top values of near the one's digit 9, and the − grade is assigned the bottom values near 0; thus, 80 to 83 is B−, 84 to 86 is B, and 87 to 89 is B+. In straight modal grading on a 4.0 decimal scale, the prime number is the prime letter grade: the + range of the grade begins at X.333 (repeating), rounded to X.30, above the prime number, and the − range of the grade begins at X.666 (repeating), rounded up to X.70, below the prime number: thus, B = 3.0, B+ = 3.3, and B− = 2.7.Jm0GK(Fj;v]\J

也就是说87%在B+和A-的分界线上, 一般算成3.3, 宽容点也可以算成3.7.fe%q\2Chxi
不过前几天在某大学的招生网页上看到一个更直接的算法:

虽然中国学校不是按百分比来评分, 但是排名也可以作为参考, 也就是说如果我的平均成绩排在前13%(87%below)的话, 这个算法出来的GPA是 4*87/85=4.09...

5%以外没有必要开排名，开的一般都是第一第二，你排第五开了的效果自己也能明白#a,v.Gh9Z#bM
那个percentage的算法不是那么好用
因为很多学校，特别是国外的学校，学生选课不一样，过科的时间也不同,Y N&N$s*M?p
根本无法排名b]| y2?7r
正常学校都是按分算GPA
只是算法不同
