关于物理SUB低分要不要送的问题

我的物理SUB的raw score是62分，非常低的一个分数。换算后可能800都不到吧。
许多人就说，如果把这样的分送过去，会有负面作用。!bX4_bY
我不知道这样的说法是怎么传出来的。没有任何一个官方网站或者招生委员会的人这样说过吧，全是中国的学生自己感觉的。

如果你申物理的, 这分无论如都要寄, 就算考650都要寄. 去查一下就知道, 美国除了Top10中少数几个学校, 被录取者的GRE物理平均分一般就680-800左右. 如果考虑到有一大批990的人, 其实有相当多人GRE物理分很低. 最重要的还是看研究经验. 有个老美GRE物理才5xx分, 但有在很大的研究组做过几年的经验, 一样被Top10录取. 如果你不寄, 基本录取无望.6mY,[qec~Uvo

以UFL为例，UFL物理排名大概在50左右。我记得他家sub的minimum就是600多，主要原因其实是美国佬的物理sub一般都很烂。但是在美国人眼里，作为中国人sub考个900确实也不值得炫耀，他们也习惯了看到不少sub很高的中国申请者。I4h#g&A_/W

各个学校对sub的看法会有所不同，所以不能一概而论。我只能说LZ你这个分基本上用于申请不会有任何负面影响，只有极少数学校很看重sub成绩，譬如UIUC, 只是一点个人观点。申请要坚定自己的一些想法，能够适当取舍各个地方看到的经验教训，不宜随便听取他人的意见。

我的打算是寄。无论是required, recommended，还是压根没有提到SUB。4F b[-|5MKD%Q
相信自己的每一个决定，接受自己的污点，承认自己的努力，才是一个真正的qualified man。

considered for admission, so you do need to include it. Although it may
be true that many of the applicants from China have higher subject
score, your score is very much in the acceptable range of all
applicants. The committee will be looking more at your letters of
