As I know the state owned enterprise always offers small salary, but lot of perks, and weekend, and holidays. And, you don't have to OT always. But, private or foreign owned companies may offer even more miserable wages and treat you like a dog!2wC9UG^v;[5ip
So my suggestion is try to talk to your boss, or try change your place to other office, there might be a lot of departments and offices in BIG STATE OWN ENTERPRISE. 5 years is really a long time,i just worked five months also in a state owned company,to tell the truth,there are really many bad facets here,but every coin has two sides, you should have a right attitude however,i like my job now ,it is still challenge ,maybe 2 yeas later,i will fell bored,who knows? adjust ur attitude,cI:J7a sSd2p

If I were you, I would ask yourself a question, what keeps you in the company, salary? position? people? the atmosphere? If you found that nothing attracts you in the company any more, move on! It's time wasting if there's no enjoyment at work, I think. Actually it's a good topic.'b3T M Cg

Calm down to fingure out the very reason that makes you so down with your work and your boss. Anyway, you have been working there for five years, which is not a short time of your whole life. btw, i quit my postguaduate life 'cause of the same thing... I'd shoot some woodoo attacks to a figure of him. I think it depends, if you are hired by other company or if u are sure you will be able to find a better job, it is ok for you to leave the company and find something you like or treat better. If things do not goes that way, maybe you should stay in the company , after all, few people can find what they like as their jobs. leave it make you become the boss of yourself i cannt belive that you dislike a job, but still have been working there for 5 years.

BUT, it is horrible to stay where you are and never move on. I nearly cannot bear anymore!the so-called manager treats everyone so bad,at the beginning I didn't say anything and just did my work,then I thought I could not bear anymore and explained even shouted at her when she abused me.But now,I realize that I should resist,but not in that way.I need to do my job well and try my best to make sure the Directer of Finance is content with me,and then,I will take every chance to be against her if she hurt me again!I'll never be that flabby! :loveliness: u can change ur situatiob by urself Try to find out what is the problem with you friends who you trusted, describe clearly your working environment and analysis together with them.
