QGE.A*~N!NY The ABET-accredited undergraduate software engineering program was the
%Oql:uR'q8vMW0} first of its kind in the US and currently enrolls 400+ students with)R ST@)a-Nu

freshman classes of 80 to 90 students each year. In addition to thex9\$bK5zg-E
baccalaureate degree, the department also offers the Master of Science
+V:JE)?-@ in Software Engineering degree, which started in the Fall of 2007.

1BwQ_+g(RK The department is part of RIT's largest college: The Golisano College of}/y;qm0X
Computing and Information Sciences. The college is housed in a modern
f1G \9YDRak*zF facility equipped with numerous laboratories and smart classrooms. In
,Ka%u$G\"^Fq} addition to the department of software engineering, the college includes_ J$wq}-^ E0Ar0mM
the departments of computer science; information technology; and8I)Grn%W FWj|@
networking, security, and systems administration. Research andoaKMPD9L4}3Z
cooperation among the four departments is possible through the college's
^2M cyU"A research arm: The Center for Advancing the Study of Cyberinfrastructure
%qx)Fv1t(U!xQ (CASCI). The college offers a variety of undergraduate and masters
!E m)VIU+S:D|l programs, as well as a college-level Ph.D. program.

Applicants to the tenure track position must have a strong interest in
)RbE+e{'tA software engineering research, professional education, and curriculum2S2tE5B-s)nH`
development at the advanced undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. levels. A&h;P Z7r#t0RB
Ph.D. in a related computing discipline is required, and industrial"j J;{(^3pJ
experience is highly desirable; rank and salary are commensurate withHECIMXk
experience.
