The statement indicates that the destiny of society is depended on how children are socialized. Furthermore, we have not known how to foster children to help bring about a better society. In my point of view, I do agree with it. The circumstance in the world nowadays can prove this point.
To begin with, the destiny of society means the future world. As the saying goes, "Children are the main force in the future." Children stand for the future. If we do not place enough emphasis on children, we will lose our future. Therefore, there is a growing awareness that how children educated and how they adapt to the changeable society is increasingly significant. That is, children need to be socialized and adjust themselves to the society. A full socialized child must have some qualities which are the society which has fierce competitions needs. Now the qualities such as frustration bearing and innovation and so on is showed by a well socialized child, instead, a lone wolf or a egoist is not welcome. Because well socialized children has the qualities the society needs, they help make the future of society better. Hence, how children are socialized dose determine the development of society. We need to pay more attention to education, especially socialization. How children are socialized dose determine the development of society.
However, children education is not an easy work. Firstly, what we cannot ignore is that the children and the society have interaction between each other, instead of simply one decide another. Children exert profound influence on society and at the mean while, society which is allegorically as a furnace has a great impact on children’s growth. That relationship make children's education become more and more complex.
Another question is that today's world cannot determine tomorrow because of many other factors which sometimes seem to be random and have no principle to follow. What a better society need is changed with the quickening tempo of modern life. Many years ago, maybe a silent and obedient child was consider an elitist, but now the definition of an "elitist " has changed. Instead of the ones who can only recite and memorize in a mechanistic fashion, today we need those who have more imagination and innovation. So what does future society really need? Who knows, maybe totally different from today? And we can only act as a guide for the children, conduct them into the society today, but how to create tomorrow would be difficult to predict, and that is the task of children to explore by themselves.Besides, by observing the education now, we can also see that our education system has not been mature. Therefore there is an important but difficult project in front of us. That is to say, we have a long way to go in children’s education. To sum up, we can basically conclude that the way and extent children are socialized is the main factor that determines what the future of society is. However, for the factors for children's socialized is so complicated and confined by the present condition, people today are still confronted with difficulty in raising children for a better society.
