Researchers of German cancer research center at Heideberg analyzed more than 16 thousand brain tumor cases.They found people with four or more siblings were twice as likely to develop brain tumor as people with no siblings.The kid is the highest risk with those who have three more younger siblings.There is no association between the number of old siblings and brain tumors,so what’s going on here.The answer may have something to do with infections.The new study suggests that the infection kids get early in life outside the room may also be important for brain tumor risk. Infections and reinfections in little child seems to be the ones connected to brain tumors and the more siblings the kid has, the greater the chance of catching something was being passed around the family.Interestingly,exposure to infections between birth and five month of age may actually be preventative.That might have something to do with boosting the immunity.
