It takes guts to fight AIDS, literally. The intestines are home to some 70 percent of the immunity system. And researchers from the University of California - Davis have recently shown that the HIV virus can survive efforts to kill it by hiding out in the gut. Not only that, HIV can keep on replicating in the gut. So tests that measure the levels of virus in the blood may seem to show that the patient's viro levels are low but the virus hiding out in the gut can still be replicating and lower the immunity. Inflammation due to the virus causes additional problems. The good news is that the new findings published in the journal Virology have shown medical researcher that they need to be aiming new treatments right at the gut. Meanwhile patients currently receiving anti-retroviral therpy could have their intestines checked with biopsies to see if there are hibering hidden HIV. Drugs to treat gut inflammation could be added to the mix of AIDS treatments and earlier retroviral therpy may have get the guts in real function back in here.& g5 x5 A1 O6 i0 s8 _, i- C

Literally, the intestines(错拼1) are home to some 70% of the immune system. And researchers from University of California- Davis(?请问这里什么意思,是学校的学院吗?) have recently shown that the HIV virus can survive the efforts to kill it by hiding out in the gut. Not only that, HIV can keep on replicating in the gut. So tests that measure the levels of virus in the blood may seem to show that the patients’ virus levels are low(是不是好多病人的病毒水平呢,我觉得一个病人只有一种HIV的病毒水平吧,不懂医啊,可能理解有误的)  Inflammation(错拼2) due to the virus posts additional problems. The good news is that new findings published in the Journal of Virology(蒙对的) have shown the medical research that they need to be aiming new treatment is right at the gut. Meanwhile, pacients current received anti-HIV virus therapy could have their intestine checked with biopsies(错3,原来不会这个词) to see if they are harboring hidden HIV. Drugs to the treatment gut imlamation could add to mix ADIS treatment. And earlier retroviral (没有听出来)treatment therapy may help to get the gut immunity function back in gear.(我觉得是恢复正常功能的意思吧)
