Women scientists at research universitiy still face barriers in hiring and promotion and the US has been deprived of an important sourse of scientific talent.
5 x {3 Y/ J; d9 c1 ]7 z9 }Those are the findings of a report titled "beyond bias and barriers for filling the protential of women in acdamic sciense and engeneering.

the report was issued this week by the national acadamy of sciense and associated institutions.

Yale biophysics and biochemistry professor John stave served on the commette that worked the report,
$ ^5 n3 j* d0 ^9 ]5 u0 _"it's not a word predrudise that ravled the accumulation of a lot of little thing that head up to disgredge women"

the report notes that women sciense faculty are paid less and promoted more slowly despite comprable productivities by men.
