We are also happy to offer you a Fellowship for $25,000 (approximately 181,000 RMB) without teaching duties for your first year of graduate study as well as $1,000 (approximately 7,243 RMB) of travel funds, payable upon arrival and registration for classes. Your financial support in future years will be guaranteed at comparable levels ($25,000 stipend, plus health insurance and tuition) that will be provided either as a Teaching Associate Instructor, or as a Research Assistant. Because the fellowship is a merit award, you must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0.
