Each person born helpless and human's powerrelies on the power of society, how children are socialized, to a large extent,determines the destiny of society. I agree that we have not learned how to makesure every child being socialized well, although many of our children have socializedhealthy. We are still on the long journey of learning how to bring our childrenin the best way.

, M& A* \- }( KFirst, juvenile crime and delinquency arestill a serious problem of our society. When children meet some difficult in theirsocial life, they often deal it with the way that they learned from what theyhave seen. So we should have provided children a world that people solveproblems in proper ways, but, unfortunately, our TVs and movies are filled withviolence. Children can frequently catch sights of violence from the media.Second, more and more people suffers depression in modern society, that is closelyrelated with how they were socialized in their childhood.' 7 d0 [: M* p* {- h* E+ K2 y+ tFurther more, children who are the architectsof the future society, but we have not know how to help the juvenile realizetheir responsibility to the society. We often emphasize individual freedom, butsome times self-discipline and responsibility which is as important as freedomshould be emphasized in order to make our society a better place. A surveyconducted by ETS in 2006 showed that, in America, to a large extant children preferto desert it when they feel difficult in their study. So subjects which rely ongreat effects and a mass of practice are abandoned. So in America the societyis lack of person with technical and scientific ability. Although foreignerscan came and take these works, most of them will go back to there mother landand American still need the local residents to gain these abilities. So inchildren education we should emphasize responsibility as important as freedom,and let children know their responsibility to our society, that is crucial fora better society in the future. & V6 x* i9 x5 B2 u- R. v

# i! i& s% }* F+ {! \However, fortunately, we have on the way oflearning raising children to become better architects of our society, and wehave achieved many successes. Each person born helpless, but man kind did notextinct, because we had socialized for thousands of years and accumulates alarge amount of knowledge, skills, instruments and so on. People work together efficientlyeven when they come from different countries. For example, people cooperatedwell in international projects. The human genomic project, which was based on multiplecountry cooperate, was conducted and finished well. That is a sign that peopleare highly socialized, and the socialization of ourselves are mostly accomplishedwhen we are children.# S3 q0 ], d. {3 H' Q

2 d7 E. D" ~$ pIn sum, we have notlearned how to make sure every child being socialized well, although many ofour children have socialized well. We are still on the long exploration of howto bring our children in the best way.
