  I have no dark confessions to make.I call my story the story of a bad boy,

  not a cherub.I may truthfully say I was an amiable,impulsive lad,blessed* `: x3 B# L. u) z# R

  and with the angels stand;I didn't think the missionary tracts presented to

  picture him to myself with his head closely shaved-he never had too much

  his winters in New York and his summers in the Nutter House,which
( t) |4 m/ S7 R9 O0 _- {  threatens to prove a hard nut for the destructive gentleman with the scythe
! ~5 g  Z  \  z; r8 c0 O  and the hour-glass,for the seaward gable has not yielded a clapboard to0 I, a7 }: x5 S, o' R
  the eastwind these twenty years.The Captain has now become the Oldest% |- k$ I+ l6 ]
